La Bribonnière is a charming, 500 year-old restored property on the banks of the River Authion, with a pretty, enclosed garden.

Lesley and Alan welcome you to their gîte situated 4 kms from Les Rosiers-sur-Loire with its shops and restaurants - and 18 kms from the historic town of Saumur.

La Bribonnière offers the perfect holiday for those wishing to enjoy rural France as well as explore the treasures of the Loire. There is walking, cycling and fishing nearby and plenty of caves where you can sample the local wines.

Couples or families are welcome for a week, a short break or a couple of nights. We speak English and French and will do our utmost to make your visit a memorable one. Brochures are available in the gîte and Lesley and Alan will be happy to advise you on places to visit or on activities in the region.

Sympathetically restored, comfortably furnished and well-equipped, the property has oak beams, terracotta floors downstairs and a big fireplace in tuffeau, the local limestone.

The ground floor comprises: living-room with wood-burning stove, TV and DVD player. Large well-fitted kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, washing-machine, fridge, ceramic hob, oven, microwave), shower room with toilet. Upstairs there is one double bedroom with a king-size bed and one twin bedroom. Each bedroom has en-suite shower facilities and toilets. The living-room also has a double sofa-bed.

Towels and bed linen are provided. There is electric heating throughout.
Travel cot and high chair available.
The garden is fully equipped with outdoor furniture and a barbecue.

The gîte is available all year.

No smoking inside the gîte and sorry, no pets.
